During a visit to the president, the Ogun state governor, said the road will be tolled. That is if the president approves that the states take over the road.

According to Tolu Ogunlesi, the special assistant to the president on digital media, Abiodun also asked that the state government be allowed to repair the Agbara-Atan road and get a refund from the federal government.

The Agbara industrial park in Nigeria´s manufacturing heart lies at the beginning of the “Lagos-Ota-Abeokuta Road”. Which is probably the second busiest road in this country,” the State Governor Abiodun told state correspondents.

In other times the larger manufacturing companies have selected Agbara in Ogun as their preferred location to industrialize West Africa.

Firms like Nestlé, Unilever, Maggi, Reckitt Benckiser, Nampak, GSK-GlaxoSmithKline, Pharmadeko, Beloxxi, BetaGlass and many others have seen their operations being impacted by the poor state of the pavement of these federal infrastructures. The employees of these companies have seen their mobility reduced.

“Roads are in such deplorable condition and we understand that the Federal Government cannot afford to build all the roads at the same time”.

Both the Lagos and Ogun state governors have written to Mr. President Buhari, asking to transfer that road to us.

LandAfrique is following the State initiatives from very closely and assisting where possible.

With the growth of both States, Agbara and Ota are becoming more and more the natural expansion zones, where employees prefer to select their homes for the best life, work and leisure balance.

The new Emerald and Southfield developments are LandAfrique´s latest residential endeavours which promise to revolutionise Nigeria´s real estate markets. This is not only from a balanced price vs. quality ratio, but also from a property financing perspective.
