Ogun State needs at least 2,000 more houses
Ogun State government has said that it is planning to construct a minimum of 2,000 housing units in the next 12 months according to the necessities defined.
Governor Abiodun disclosed this when he received the CEO in his office at Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta.
Abiodun said that his administration had aligned with the Federal Government’s economic sustainability plan, which seeks to provide affordable housing in different parts of the country.
The Governor believes the Ogun State is being considered as one of the states that would pilot the scheme. LandAfrique with its renowned Agbara Estate development in Ogun State is on the forefront of presenting their 2,000 affordable housing program.
Abiodun also stated that his administration was planning to create an avenue for a ripple effect on the manufacturing sector, particularly those sectors in the entire manufacturing value-chain, said that he was excited about the opportunities the relationship presented.
“Our plan over the next 12 months is to have a minimum of 2,000 units of affordable housing and property. We did what we referred to as a pilot scheme of our affordable housing units and they were completely sold out,” he said.
